In ISLANDS OF CONNECTING TISSUE we invite you to performative gatherings and to share artistic practices with each other: in open workhshop formats - sharing practices - we inspire each other and learn from each other under the instruction of various artists, who bring their current practices. From 5. - 7. April there will be two sharing practices per day, plus the premiere of the music theater SIRENS OF THE O by and with Jasmina Rezig and Marja Christians.

How can lines from memory or imagination move into the body and become movement?
This workshop encourages finding out more about ourselves with the help of simple artistic exercises in movement, drawing and writing. With these exercises, we will find out what a line means to us, what role each stroke plays in the way we express ourselves. How we sense and internalize the lines around us, how we embody lines as stories and share them with others.
