Frankfurt Moves! Presentation
Intern. Artist Residency

The international residency programme “Frankfurt Moves!” aims to support the contemporary performing arts by promoting international emerging artists individually and fostering artistic exchange and intercultural dialogue. The residency programme invites artists from the global south to work in Frankfurt.

From 56 countries – from Argentina to Zimbabwe – artists from the performing arts sector applied for the one-month residency. A jury chose four teams, which will work on their projects and engage with the Frankfurt cultural scene from 17. July till 17. August:

Aaron Kaiser Garcia (Philippines)
Meghna Bhardwaj, Denis Barwa (India)
Miguel Valdivieso, Marta Salinas (Bolivia / Argentinia)
Yuck Miranda, João Felisberto Armando (Mozambique)

KfW Stiftung and Frankfurt LAB congratulate the selected artists and look forward to the creative meeting in Frankfurt.

On 16. August 2025, the results of the residency period will be publicly presented at the Frankfurt LAB. After the presentations, there will be an opportunity to talk to the residents over snacks and drinks.

"Frankfurt Moves!" is an initiative of the foundation KfW Stiftung aimed at promoting artistic exchange and intercultural dialogue. The residency programme in cooperation with the Frankfurt LAB supports international emerging artists in the performing arts.
